TESTING

1. Testing can begin once the numbers have been put up around the house.

2. Test little and often. Use the Quick Test Sheet to record the locations of the Table Memory Sheets to help you.

3. Encourage your child to look at the numbers everyday.

4. Start straight away by asking simple questions (eg ‘Where in the house is 2 x 3 and 3 x 2 or ‘What is on the fridge door’, or ‘where is the Swan’ and ‘what is on that sheet’).

5. Very important: If they do not know the answer, just encourage them to look at the tables again.

6. When they know the tables, ask them to use the online tests.

7. First, the medium speed tests. Then the fast speed tests.
