How it came about
Tony Lazar has more than 20 years experience of teaching and tutoring school children and studying the best learning methods available. After looking at the way multiplication tables were taught and the various products for teaching tables, Tony saw that using current methods did not aid children in learning and remembering the Times Tables. He sought a better way for children to learn and remember the times tables and found it.
Tony then develped the ideas to result in the 100% Instant Recall Method. A method that combines the techniques of the World Memory Champions and the ideas and practical application of The Learning Well.
Tony Lazar
Tony is a teacher and has taught Latin, Maths and English to children between 5-13. He is the author of “Over the Bridge”, a book about the journey to learning and improvement and “The Learning Well”, a story of learning. Tony’s work highlights that there are several factors which affect the way and the rate children learn and these in turn impact how anyone is able to communicate and speak. The processes developed by Tony result in greatly enhanced learning and communication skills.
Tony has worked with Alan McMahon & Mandip Sohal in developing the Times Tables 100% Instant Recall Method, the most effective method of learning times tables found to date.
Tony is also a world expert in Memory Mapping and it’s practical application to learning.
Tony is a Past President of Harrovian Speakers and has held other positions of responsibility within Toastmasters International clubs.
Alan McMahon
Alan’s background is in the commercial management of companies and projects, dispute resolution, arbitration, adjudication, mediation and negotiation. Alan is a director of The Speaking Well and The Learning Well, Past President and Past Vice President of Education of Harrovians Speakers, a founding member of Watford Speakers, an Advanced Toastmaster, consultant, advisor, speaker, coach, trainer, memory mapper, writer and commentator on speaking, communication & learning.
Alan a leading authority on Memory Mapping and coined the term. He has worked extensively with Tony in developing the concept and applying it to speaking, communication and learning.
Mandip Singh Sohal
Mandip is a Finance Officer who has worked in the financial centre of London for over 23 years, with various investment banks, insurance companies, brokers, and for one of the world’s wealthiest families. Mandip has been involved in several business start-ups including on the investor side. He is a supporter of running business using effective systems and processes.
Mandip has a young family and a passion for teaching children spirituality and entrepreneurship. Learning to learn is a core element of this and the building blocks for future progression. Mandip was until recently Vice President of Education of Harrovian Speakers.
Mandip is a Memory Mapping and Instant Recall trainer & coach.
